John Ramaine started his career performing in musical theater (including the National Tour of Man of La Mancha) then shifted gears toward film. He received the Best Actor Award from the Cine Film Festival for his work on Writer’s Block and co-starred in Jake Davis’ Cool Hunter, which will be shown at the Sundance Film Festival. Mr. Ramaine co-starred in the feature film Stanley Cuba and had featured roles on 30 Rock and 6 Degrees. In the past year, John has performed principle roles on Winged Rats, Motorcycle Maintenance on the Boardwalk as well as Inner Circle.

As a staff writer for Brooklyn Independent Studios, John’s cowritten screenplay, titled, The Arrangement was recently announced by Variety magazine as a production in progress and will begin pre-production spring of 09. Also coming next year is John’s first novel, A Long Time Ago, based on his screenplay about the redemption of Hollywood. John has also won various awards and has received honors for directing and producing.
