facilities at the Justice Center. If you would like to donate any of these items
or if there are other items you think may be helpful, please call us at (918)

* Easel pad(s)
* Erasable marker (Crayola washables)
* White paper for copier
* Colored paper for copier
* Magazine subscriptions for children and parents
* Children's videos
* Crayons and coloring books
* Re-sealable plastic bags (gallon size)
* Large trash bags
* Court school snacks: cracker packages, pop corn, juice boxes
* Styrofoam coffee cups and plastic cups
* U.S. postage 1st class stamps (rolls)

We will have a collection box at the TCC festival venue starting Thursday( Oct. 2nd)  through Sunday (Oct. 5th)

The Barebones Script 2 Screen and Movie Biz Conference along with Barebones International Independent Film Festival organizers and Darkwood Film Arts Institute are inviting interested media producers, writers, actors, etc. along with concerned and compassionate citizens to join the newly formed organization Independent Film Makers Against Child Abuse.
 
The organization will actively work to lobby independent film producers to get involved with local and national organizations such as the Child Abuse Network, CASA(Court Appointed Special Advocates), Child Abuse Prevention Partnership Programs, Battered Persons Advocacy, Big Brother and Sister Programs as well as volunteering in producing local and national PSAs for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
 
The organization will also work with organizations who seek to educate young parents on child rearing and provide emotional and spiritual support to those parents. Where requested the organization will look for volunteers to assist local law enforcement as well as abuse intervention groups.
 
As members of Independent Film Makers Against Child Abuse, The Script 2 Screen Film Festival and Moviebiz Conference and Barebones International Independent Film Festival producers have pledged ten percent of all ticket sales to CAN. The festivals will provide booths at each festival for the Child Abuse Network to accept direct donations and DFAI will wave all tuition and meal fees to the DFAI Moviemaking Camps for students the Child Abuse Network recommends. 
 
DFAI, along with S2S and BBIIFF will also sponsor a series of special celebration events on October 8th, National Childrens Day and invite interested organizations and individuals to join in remembering and celebrating our most precious gifts to our future, our children.
 
There is no cost to join Film Makers Against Child Abuse, but our focus is to be a volunteer organization of doing, not talking. We want to help existing organizations reach their goals and fulfill their missions while we cast new eyes on ways to help families heal and children grow.
 
With so many of these organizations we have only a few hands doing a lot. With your help we can add many hands doing a little, hopefully making an impact and maybe reversal of a worsening national trend.
