Monte Hunter, an Oklahoma native, attended Oklahoma State University where he recieved a Bachelor of Arts in English.  His main emphasis of study was creative writing. 

Most recently, he wrote the screenplay for Frankenstein
Rising, the forthcoming feature from Sterling Entertainment due out at the end of 2009. 

As an actor, Monte spent several years off and on living in Los Angeles, having attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and appearing in several direct-to-DVD horror films, including The Curse of Lizzie Borden, Attitude for Destruction and the creature-feature comic book adaptation Reptisaurus. 

Currently, he is working on several writing projects and starring in the in-production Oklahoma soil film Dark Mister.
