The 2-winners will be showcased during the Indiewood Awards Gala on Sunday, October 8th.
The 2-winners will also be cast in a speaking role in an upcoming movie production. TBA
The 2-winners will also receive a full personality photo shoot valued at $1,500.TBA
The 2-winners will also receive a one-year Scholarship Certificate & Membership to Darkwood Film Arts
Institute.
4-Finalists wil receive a 6-month Membership & Scholarship Certificate to Darkwood Film Arts Institute.
Participants are urged to bring 2 or more headshots and resumes with them to the session.
Participants will have the opportunity to perform 1 monologue (dramatic) to demonstrate acting skills.
Judges will provide feedback to each participant with suggestion for improvement. Judges will also present insights
and strategies for breaking into professional acting based on some of their experiences as Actors, Directors and Producers
in Oklahoma and coast to coast. The Judges selection decisions are final.
The Judging Panel will include previous Indie Film Star winners, Professional Actors, Directors and Producers.
This is not an agency solicitation of any kind. You will, however, be asked to identify your Agency Representation
same as in a normal audition. This is a workshop, first and foremost and an Acting Competition, second. Our desire
is to help you to enhance your acting skills and share some tips from theIndependent Film industry. (Many indies
also work on major productions)
